DEN CHIEF TRAINING

DEN CHIEF TRAINING. A den chief is a Scout who assists a Cub Scout or Webelos den leader at den and pack meetings and other Scouting events. A valuable source of guidance, skills, songs, and games, the den chief encourages the Cubs in their advancement and shares his enthusiasm for Scouting with the den.

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills will provide Scout leaders with the basic outdoor skills information needed to start and guide a program the right way. Completion of this course is the required outdoor training for all Scoutmasters and assistant Scoutmasters. The skills taught are based on the outdoor skills found in The  Scout Handbook.

TIME: 9:00am – 4:30pm.
Check In Begins at 8:30am – 1:00pm.
MORNING SERVICE WORK: 9:00am – 12:00pm.
LUNCH: 12:00 – 1:00.
AFTERNOON SERVICE WORK: 1:00 – 5:00pm

Eagle River District - Merit Badge Day

Saturday, November 3, 2018: Merit Badge Day at Amery High School, Amery, WI.

Cost $15.00. Runs from 8:00 am (check-in) Merit badges start at 9:00 am and runs till 4:00 pm. Registration closes Wednesday, October 31st at 11:00.

Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster training, Troop Committee training, Venturing Leader Training, Youth Protection, and Merit Badge Counselor training will be offered at Merit Badge day. (More information will be available in October)
